Exploring Hampshire's Churchyards 1/3

In an effort to get out of the office in more of my lunchbreaks, I've started taking my camera to work. This week I managed two successful expeditions to take photographs, one expedition which was unsuccessful due to an overfull car park at my intended destination, and one visit to a local park with a colleague, where no photos got taken. I also went out for a couple of walks yesterday, on one of which I had my camera with me.

First off, St Mary's church, Herriard.

This is an early 13th century chuch with later Victorian additions, including the tower:

I was rather taken with this door too:

There's the usual mix of old and new gravestones:

And this memorial, which had too many brambles around it for me to investigate further in my work suit:
Herriard Church 060812 (13)

And a final view of the church:

Full set of photos starts here.
