Six Sentence Sunday

Here we go again. Go to the website here and follow links to all all manner of story extracts, with something to suit every taste. Meanwhile, for my effort, more from my current WiP, currently at the first full edit stage. Continuing with the same scene as last week, Edward has finally moved the conversation onto the subject of his son:

"...I gather I need to put his name down for a school sooner rather than later, but I'm a little concerned at the moment as to who knows of his existence."

"Ah." Stanton put far more meaning into that one syllable than most men could encompass in an entire sentence.

"Raymond seems to think you can help."

"I have occasionally made arrangements in similar situations. You were at Harrow, weren't you?"
