A Visit to Chenie's Manor Part One

Last Thursday I had some errands to run north of the M25, so I got those out of the way in the morning, and then paid a visit to Chenie's Manor in the afternoon. The oldest part of the house is medieval (and probably one of the earliest examples of a brick-built manor house that we have today), while most of it is Tudor (and the building we see today is only about 1/8th of what was originally built on the site):

Before I could look at the house, however, I found something very interesting in the car park:

After that excitement, and a visit to the shop (stopping to chat to the lady of the manor along the way), I still had a little time before my tour was scheduled to start, so I explored some of the gardens:
