Christmas at the Weald and Downland Museum

Beween Boxing Day and New Year's Day, the Weald and Downland Museum celebrates Christmas in various historical styles. I braved the unpredictable weather and visited on 29 December 2013:

Although there wasn't much to see that I hadn't photographed in previous years, I did find myself wondering what this structure was for:

It's a little shallow to be a sheep dip or even a sheep wash, but it does seem to be designed to let water stand in the bottom of it.


I also took pictures of the nativity scene in the tin church:

Hopefully we'll get some better weather again later in the year, because I want to see how the new buildings are developed into working demonstrations.
