Shelsley Walsh (Mostly) in the Dry

Last week's adventures in the Midlands began with a trip to Shelsley Walsh speed hill climb. We had slightly varied weather, both from minute to minute and from corner to corner (given that the track record is 22.58 seconds, that made for some very confused drivers). The drivers lucky enough to get a completely dry run tended to det the best times, with those running later in less ideal conditions tending to either set slower times or disappear off the trac altogether. Only a couple of seriously damaged cars, though, and no serious damage to any drivers (at the event: I suspect some were in for a telling-off when they got home).
