Out and About in Hampshire

I walked into town on Saturday morning to run a few errands, and discovered this selection of classic cars:

A line-up of minis

A rather smashing Ford (owners also dressed as a 1920s gangster and moll)

Triumph GT6

1937 BSA Scout

1967 Wolseley 1100

Having admired the cars, I caught a train to Southampton and wandered along to the Tudor House museum, spotting this piece of outdoor art along the way:

The main reason for my visit was a display of Tudor falconry with a Harris Hawk. That proved rather difficult to photograph, but I did get some pictures of the house and garden:

The outside of the house, front and back

The garden

Some of the displays and fixtures inside the house

Of course no trip to Southampton is complete without spotting something Titanic-related

It's remarkable how many small museums can be found in Hampshire with a little investigation. I plan to visit more in the coming months.
