Once An Assassin is going through another round of edits, which I hope to have finished by the end of the month, then ozambersand is going to look over it with an editor's eye to see what needs to be done before I start trying to fid a home for it. jhall1, I know you worry about me over polishing things, but I'll try not to.
November is NaNoWriMo, or for the less ambitious amongst us, there's picowrimo. I plan to use it to make a decent start on the Stately Home Murder Mystery. In an idea world, I would have done more research beforehand, but all my books are stacked neatly in a corner of the living room ready to be consulted as I write.
At some point I also want to go back to last year's picowrimo story and write the rest of it, in spite of my worries about finding a home for something that includes both a teen friends-to-lovers m/m pairing and an intergenerational friends-with-the-possibility-of-more m/f pairing within the SF Action Adventure plot.
Fortunately I've been finding it much easier to write since moving out of the space I was sharing in an open-plan office into an office of my own once again.
How about you? What are your current projects? What is the best kind of workspace in which you can be productive?
