Vintage Motorsport at Prescott

One of these days I might stay in one place for long enough to write up all the adventures I've been having, but not yet. Having visited Studeley Castle, I had a relaxing rest of the day at the hotel and then got up early on the Sunday morning to drive down to Prescott for the Vintage Sports Car Club annual speed hillclimb meeting there.

After helping direct cars to the correct parking areas during a rather rainy morning, Dad and I headed up the hill in much drier conditions to watch the afternoon runs.

We saw a wide variety of cars:

1935 Talbot 95/105
Vintage Prescott 040813 (20)

1926 Morris Cowley
Vintage Prescott 040813 (32)

1931 Invicta S Type
Vintage Prescott 040813 (37)

1907 Star 16 HP Raceabout
Vintage Prescott 040813 (50)

1930/31 Austin 7 Special -- The Toy
Vintage Prescott 040813 (62)

1928 Alvis 12/50 Sports
Vintage Prescott 040813 (80)

1925 Bugatti T30
Vintage Prescott 040813 (146)

1925 Morris Keen Sprint Replica
Vintage Prescott 040813 (147)

1934 Wolseley Hornet Special
Vintage Prescott 040813 (156)

1924 Bentley 3/4.5 litre
Vintage Prescott 040813 (160)

Sadly I didn't get photos of any of the really big-engined cars this time. But we did get to meet a car Dad sold in the late 1980s.
