Weekend Writing Warriors

Another Sunday, and another round of Weekend Writing Warriors. I've made some writing progress, although I've been mostly doing editing and research for other projects. Having worked on the well dressings all week, Rupert has a little time once again to investigate his new home and the people that live on the estate. Here, he's visiting Linda at the art gallery:

"Does Papa usually work on his cars after he's finished on the farm? He's not shown me any of the new ones yet."

"He's probably been too tired after the day's shearing. I know Brigit's been exhausted most evenings this week."

"You said she was at Mass today: does she go every Sunday?" Rupert had been taken to both Anglican services that morning, neither of which he'd found particularly inspiring. At least the two services had had different hymns, and the vicar had delivered completely unrelated sermons to the villagers of Upper and Lower Pemberley. He'd still have preferred a proper ceremony though.

To see what the others have been writing, go over there and give folks some comment-love.
