The Curious World of Becky Adams at The Willis Museum

Having visited the Milestones Museum on the 25th January 2014, I headed into the centre of Basingstoke to visit the Willis Museum, and in particular its exhibition of works by Becky Adams.

Becky Adams is a collector of stories; they become an integral part of her life and are ingrained into the making of her work through a sophisticated use of stitch, vintage fabric and antique ephemera. The exhibition explores the connections between text and textile, presenting a collection of intricate works that combine handmade paper, book-binding, old photographs, vintage fabrics and antique ephemera.

Well worth a look if you're in the area, or when the exhibition moves on. Or you can just go look at her website.
