Love and an (Orange) Lamborghini
by M.A. Ford
Published by Dreamspinner Press
ISBN 9781627987554

Freelance journalist Will Turner is struggling both financially and emotionally since being dumped by his boyfriend. While his sports car obsessed roommate, Niki, is busy leaving notes for the female owner of a Lamborghini Gallardo parked in their area, Will takes a last-minute assignment to interview a sportsman. The attraction between Will and racing driver Tim Johnson is instant, but Tim is unwilling to risk his career by coming out. Niki has big plans for Valentine’s Day, but it will take a near miracle for any of them to find happiness.

A cute little story about the complications resulting from anonymous love notes left on a distinctive car and an interview assignment passed on to a different writer at the last minute. Short, sweet and well worth repeated readings.

A Silver Plated Spoon
by John Duke of Bedford
Published by Cassell and Company
Print book
ISBN not found

It is a story of how he single-handedly hung onto the family seat of Woburn Abbey. He has turned it into a business enterprise as described within these pages.

To state that the early life of John, 13th Duke of Bedford was tough is probably an understatement. Somehow he came through everything with a determination to hang onto his family's legacy in spite of the way he'd been treated. And he kept his sense of humour. ONe of those stories that would be thrown out as too unlikely if it was presented as fiction.
