On Editing and Cover Art

I have many, many short story edits to get through in the near future. It helps, of course that firenze is an awesome editor and peppers the corrections and requests for clarification with little notes about bits that are great as they are. Nonetheless I started by working on two of the shorter stories, where I knew nothing substantial needed to be changed. What's also lovely is that I'm being allowed to keep almost all the Britishness of my stories, so I'm not going to complain about the occasional 'z' replacing an 's'.

I didn't foresee being able to get much done today (two long train journeys with an all day meeting in the middle), but I'd printed out the Track Changes version of the novella in need of the most work, so I could at least start percolating ideas about how to attack the parts in need of fixing.

Meanwhile we almost have cover art, and it really sums up the collection as a whole. I shall make a properly squeeful post when I have something to show everyone.
